How did you guys find out about this project?
Congratulations to our 100th forum member, Soup!
Seeing that this community is growing healthily, let's share how we've learned about the Mentaru Shoujo project.
Myself, I found out by seeing Honeymuffin's post on the KS forums and immediately thought "I gotta get in on this!"

Hmmm - for me I was one of the first who replied to Honeymuffin's question in KS thread, and subsequently recruited. been a proud member of the dev team since.

I'm the 100th member? Nice!
Anyway, I'm pretty sure most people found it through Katawa Shoujo, as I did.

Re: How did you guys find out about this project?
I live under a rock and so did not know anything about KS until the full game was already out. A mate simply told me to read it, and so I did. I knew nothing about it other than that. When I'd finished all the stories and paths, I visited the KS forums and saw mention of this game there somewhere, so I came here and signed up.
Genuinely wish I had known about it earlier to be honest.

Re: How did you guys find out about this project?
Found the thread in the KS forums while lurking bitterly, as I usually do.
Re: How did you guys find out about this project?
I found it through a post in a Katawa Shoujo thread on /v/, funnily enough.

How did I find this project? Glad you asked!
Cold winds blew against my back. I tightened my cloak, though this did not stave off the chill. For five days I wandered in that snowy desert, and had drank the last of my water that morning. I had no food, running out of that two days earlier. I had been dropped out of a black helicopter. I still don't know who it was that wanted me dead, or why they dropped me out there. I doubt I will ever find out. Revenge is pointless.
I had discarded all of my possessions earlier on to make travel lighter, for the snow weighed me down heavily. My face was covered in black crust that was once my skin. I thought death was near, and made peace with my ancestors, ready to join them.
In the distance, I saw what appeared the be a tall palace. Little fires dotted the tops of its walls. What was it doing out here? Who could inhabit it? Was it just a mirage? I didn't care. I had no hope to cling to. Everything was pointless at that point, so what did it matter if I chased a hallucination?
It was both real and a delusion: There was a building, but it was no castle. No, instead I found a little shack. I entered the wooden hut, and was greeted by a flame in a steel rusted barrel. In the room was a computer, with a skeleton seated at it. I pushed him, or her, out of the way, sat down, and found this corpse was on the "Mentaru Shoujo" homepage.
With nothing better to do while I await my frozen inevitable death, I sit on this page.
In other words, I saw the topic on the KS forums and just came here.

Re: How did you guys find out about this project?
I was lurking around on the KS forums for literally the first time while checking out the fanworks section. When I saw the subject of the thread for MS, I thought of the numerous ways it could go wrong. But the people posting and the current devs knew what they were talking about so I decided to try and get a jump on the project and maybe get on the team as a musician. At the very least I wanted to follow it's creation from the start.

A friend of mine actually linked me to this page because he knows of my... healthy addiction to VNs.
But I've heard and seen mention of this site in both the KS forums and on /v/ as well, in their ever present KS General threads. Good feel times.

Re: How did you guys find out about this project?
I do believe I first caught wind of this project when it was (I think) alluded to on the KS blog... I later stumbled upon the thread on the KS forum, and found my way here. It was my deep intrigue and love of interactive media, along with my desire to see media and art continue to grow and develop in society that fueled me on my blind pilgrimage here. Shit like this can push the envelope.
<alabaster> I don't like it that big.

Re: How did you guys find out about this project?
I saw the original KS thread back in January, and applied on the spot. Had to message two admins for the forum URL.

Re: How did you guys find out about this project?
I have seen the KS thread and thought it would be a quite good idea.
Re: How did you guys find out about this project?
I saw this on KS forums as well and messaged Honeymuffin for the link to the forums.

Of course from you Kosher, still can't believe you guys really decided to go through with it but best of luck. I'll keep checking in on you guys.
Re: How did you guys find out about this project?
Saw the thread on KS, but it was kosher that told me to check it out.
